rough cut #1

the first ROUGH cut of my movie. its a really poor quality version, made just to get a sense of the edits and story. i didnt want to wait forever for a high res version to compress. this is a first "draft" so to speak, and will be worked on again and again for at least another month or so. any and all criticism/questions welcome & actually really helpful at this point.

the evening terrors

so yesterday, i had my 3rd nightmare about the film i'm directing in august. i was on location for the tea party scene... half my crew didn't show up, i didn't have a shotlist and the enchanted moss & branch covered hidden stairs were replaced by a set of looming modern concrete ones.

i just remember standing at the bottom of the stairs, trying to not cry and thinking to myself - how am i going to make this work?

the other nightmares had to do with apryl, my writer/producer, not showing up and everyone in my film school class pointing and laughing at me.

these are fun.
